1. Information processed
Depending on how you use Whovista, we process account identifiers and profile information you provide, passkey public credentials and related metadata, recovery verification records, sessions, preferences, favorites and other account activity. Reports may include contact details, URLs and supporting information you submit.
2. Authentication and recovery
A passkey's private key remains with your authenticator; Whovista stores public credential information for verification. Recovery uses protected verifier records and temporary transaction state. Keep your Recovery Phrase private and do not include it, passwords or authentication codes in reports or support messages.
3. Cookies, logs and security
Necessary cookies and browser storage support sessions, age confirmation, language preferences and site functions. Database sessions and infrastructure logs may include IP addresses, browser information, request paths and timestamps. Some application records use keyed IP pseudonyms; this does not make all site or infrastructure data anonymous. We use these records to operate the service, diagnose faults and prevent abuse.
4. Referrals and third-party services
Outbound clicks may be recorded for referral statistics and abuse prevention. Partner links may carry affiliate parameters. Hosting and network providers process traffic as part of delivering the site. When you follow an external link, that provider's privacy and cookie practices apply. Review its notice before providing information or making a purchase.
5. Use, access and retention
Account data supports the functions you use; report information supports review and responses. We do not sell report contact details or use them for promotional mail. Access is limited according to operational duties. Retention depends on the record and operational, security and applicable legal needs; security controls and backups do not guarantee that every risk is eliminated.
6. Requests and contact
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion or other processing of your information. Send privacy requests to [email protected]. The existing report form is available for content and removal reports.
